Team size: 4 people under the guidance of a coach

Project characteristics: Build and program a robot that solves problems (corresponding to the theme) on the field.

Junior

Age: ages 9–13
Team size: 4 people under the guidance of a coach
Hardware/software: Tinkercad; CoSpaces
Project characteristics: Create a prototype of a device (or an entire system) that helps solve one of the pressing environmental problems: monitoring the quality of air, water, soil, saving electricity or water, optimizing waste processing, etc.

  • 1st Place Prize: $2,500
  • 2nd Place Prize: $1,500
  • 3rd Place Prize: $1,000

Senior

Age: ages 14–17
Team size: 3-4 people under the guidance of a coach
Hardware/software: Free choice
Project characteristics: Create a system (physical or virtual) that measures and analyzes one or more environmental parameters (e.g. air or water quality)
